Type Experiment

The practice of visual communication is concerned with the transfer of information using print communication. Designers use a wide variety of typographic language. Typography as it relates to the media and as it functions in various formats is covered in depth with particular emphasis placed on typographic design for both print and the electronic screen. Print communication such as advertisements, brochures, catalogues, editorial and posters are examined in its traditional format of print and in electronic design.
